Weather again hits GAA games

The wet and windy weather has once again impacted on the local GAA programme with the Leinster Colleges SFC A encounter between St Patrick's CS, Navan and Moate Community School - which was due to be played this evening -  now fixed for tomorrow, Thursday, at Pairc Tailteann, 6.30.

The early start is to faciliate the Meath senior football team who have a training session scheduled for the venue.

The colleges game was originally due to be played last weekend but was postponed because of the weather.

The fixture was switched to this evening but because of a severe weather alert it has been put back 24 hours.

Meath's Leinster MFL game against Dublin has also been switched. It was originally due to be played at Pairc Tailteann on Saturday, 2.0.

It will not take place at the home of Donaghmore/Ashbourne in Ashbourne on Saturday at the new time of 4.0.
