Aaron Ennis slotted over a last-gasp point at the end of extra-time as Clann na nGael dramatically defeated St Michael's 1-13 to 1-12 in the IFC semi-final at Pairc Tailteann today.
As the game moved towards the end of normal time St Michael's led by a point but Graham Geraghty popped up with a score to send the game into extra-time.
Early in extra-time Jamie Farrelly fisted to the net for St Michael's while Clann na nGael's Jamie Shaw was red carded.
However with the help of a Geraghty goal Clann na nGael stayed in contention and in the closing minutes Ennis fired over from a free to leave the sides level before grabbing the dramatic winner in the 82nd minute with a shot from distance.
