Meath edged out by Cavan

Caoimhin King and Padraig Harnan featured for Meath last night in a SF challenge defeat (1-13 to 3-14) by Cavan at St Colmcille’s.

 

Dalton McDonagh’s goal kept Meath in touch in the opening half as they trailed by 1-5 to 1-8 at the interval.

David Givney found the net for Cavan in the opening half and the Ulster side did enough after the break to win by seven points.

Meath will play Louth next weekend in Trim in another SF challenge.
