Kehoe Cup defeat for Meath

Meath lost out in the final of the Kehoe Cup today in Trim when they went down by 0-13 to 2-11 against Kildare.

Meath were ahead by 0-7 to 0-6 at the interval, but conceded two very soft second-half goals and that ultimately proved costly.

Meath also finished with a tally of 16 wides, 10 in the opening half and some were from what looked like very scoreable positions.

Meath will have a break now until the first round of the NHL Div 2B which starts with an away game against Down on Sunday 24th February.
