U-21 B HC title for Blackhall Gaels/Drumree

The curtain came down on the local GAA scene for 2012 at Trim today as Blackhall Gaels/Drumree clinched the u-21 B HC title with a 2-11 to 1-7 win over Dunderry. After failing to determine a winner from their initial outing a week ago the sides met in blustery, but otherwise excellent conditions at Trim and produced another entertaining affair. However, unlike in the drawn encounter there was no late Dunderry drama as a brace of goals from James Reilly settled the issue long before the final whistle. Reilly's first goal following a goalkeeping error boosted the joined forces of Blackhall Gaels and Drumree to a 1-7 to 0-3 interval lead and when he added a second after the break it put the game to bed as he increased his side's lead to 2-8 to 0-3. Dunderry's late goal game from a Killian Minogue free.
