Seneschalstown win in extra-time

Local rivals and neighbours Seneschalstown and Walterstown served up a thriller in the u-21 A FC final at Páirc Tailteann tonight. Seneschalstown prevailed after extra-time by 1-17 to 1-13 in front of a big crowd. Walterstown were ahead by 0-7 to 0-6 at the interval, but trailed 0-8 to 1-11 at the three-quarter stage before recovering to finish level 1-12 apiece at the end of 60 minutes. Extra-time was tight with the sides level (1-12 apiece) at the end of the first-half. Seneschalstown forged clear in thes econd period of added time and were worthy winners.
