Carr answers London call

Former Walterstown players Paddy Carr added another achievement to his list of triumphs as a Gaelic football manager when he guided Tír Chonaill Gaels to a London SFC final victory over Kingdom Kerry Gaels at Ruislip on Sunday. The former Walterstown player has achieved championship success as manager of a number of teams including Mattock Rangers and Kilmacud Crokes, who he led to an All-Ireland Club title in 2009. He has been involved with Tír Chonaill for a number of years and was the club's director of football. He took over as manager for this year and guided them through a championship campaign that culminated in the 1-15 to 1-8 victory over the Kingdom Kerry Gaels. Carr recently went for the post of Meath manager however Mick O'Dowd was chosen instead to replace Seamus McEnaney.
