Kiltale secure SHC quarter-final spot

Kiltale survived the concession of two late goals to score an impressive 1-18 to 3-8 victory over Navan O'Mahonys in tonight's SHC crunch contest at Trim.

With the winners securing the last remaining qualification spot for the quarter-finals Kiltale looked to be cruising when leading by 1-17 to 1-8 with two minutes remaining.

However, they allowed O'Mahonys set up a tense finish with a couple of scrambled goals, but time ran out for John Gorry's side as Kiltale gained revenge for last year's semi-final loss to book a quarter-final spot against Dunboyne.
