Meath 2-10 Roscommon 0-10
Meath overcame the challenge of Roscommon to win the All-Ireland MHC B final at The Downs last evening with Willie McGrath netting two goals.
Apart from brief spells in the opening half the young Royals led all the way including the interval when they were ahead by 1-6 to 0-6 with McGrath netting a fine individual goal just before the break.
The Moylagh/Kilskyre player added another goal in the second-half to seal the win.
Clann na nGael's Ciaran Fitzsimons also made a big contribution with four points, one from a late penalty.
James Andrews (three), James Toher, Cillian O'Sullivan, Aaron Ennis and Vinny Moore also added points to Meath's winning scoreline.
