Meath exit camogie race

Meath were edged out of a place in the All-Ireland Premier Junior camogie final by a hard-working Down side in the long grass at Clontibret this afternoon.
Down finished strong and were worthy winners although Meath gave it everything and enjoyed some good moments.
Jane Dolan closed the scoring for Meath with a late pointed free for a tally of 1-8.
"We could have won the game if we were a bit more tuned-in and it's very disappointing," Meath manager John Davis told the Meath Chronicle.
