Carnaross defeated St Michael's in the IFC semi-final on Saturday evening.

Carnaross and Nobber will meet in this year's IFC final after they both won their respective semi-finals before a big crowd at Pairc Tailteann this evening (Saturday).

In the curtain-raiser Nobber proved too strong for a below-par Dunderry with Brian Farrell slotting over nine points in the 0-12 to 0-8 victory.

The second game turned out to be much more exciting affair with Carnaross drawing away near the end to defeat St Michael's on a 0-9 to 0-7 scoreline.

Elsewhere Ballivor defeated Moylagh in the JFC semi-final at Athboy by 1-10 to 0-10. Ballinabrackey had just a point to spare over Dunsany in the other JFC semi-final with the scoreboard at the end reading 2-7 to 0-12.

Kiltale trounced Dunboyne in the SHC semi-final replay at Trim by 5-12 to 1-11 while in the camogie final Kilmessan defeated Trim 1-12 to 3-2.
