Sheridan inspires students
Seneschalstown's Brian Sheridan grabbed two goals as DCU edged out UCD in the Sigerson Cup on Wednesday.
The ace Meath attacker lined out at full-forward, despite being named at midfield, and his goals in each-half were crucial as the DCU edged out their city rivals.
Sheridan, who contributed a point against his home county in DCU's O'Bryne Cup semi-final victory last Sunday, could figure when Meath begin their NFL Division 2 campaign against Armagh this Saturday.
