VIDEO: Next phase of Dunshaughlin housing development goes on view

Willows in Dunshaughlin

Following on from the hugely popular release of the first phase of The Willows development in Dunshaughlin, the next stage is now available to view.

The Willows is a new high quality residential development in the prime location of Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath. It comprises a fine mix of three and four bedroom semi-detached houses with very good layouts and specification. These are well designed energy efficient homes in an attractive village setting, with good transport facilities, the railway station nearby as well as the new M3 motorway and bus routes.

The Meath Chronicle was invited to take a sneak preview and see what these magnificent homes have to offer. Take a tour with us below.

Designed by award-winning architects McCrossan O’Rourke Manning, these houses exude quality with layouts tuned to comfortable family living. They have traditional brick facades with good window surround and other detail. The three bedroom houses have the potential for attic conversion at a later date when required. The four bedroom houses are three storied with the master bedroom on the top floor with luxurious en suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobes!

The development will have very good landscaping throughout and also an onsite children’s playground. It enjoys a lovely village atmosphere with excellent transport links including the close proximity of the park and ride railway station with a commuter rail link to Connolly Station; there are also many bus routes. Dunshaughlin is only 20 minutes from the M50 giving easy access to Dublin. The M3 motorway is also close by linking the town with various commuter belts.

The easy access to Dublin city centre is a considerable advantage. The cross Luas links will connect up with Broombridge bringing Dublin city centre even closer. It also enjoys convenience to numerous amenities and facilities including schools, shops, restaurants, sports and leisure facilities. There is a large employer base closeby including Intel, Dublin Airport, Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown Town Centre and many more.

Dunshaughlin is well serviced by both rail and road. The M3 motorway significantly reduces travel times into Dublin City Centre. Alternatively commuters can avail of the rail line which runs from Dunboyne to the Dublin Docklands. It is the largest Park & Ride facility in the country, located at Pace, only 9 kilometres from Dunshaughlin. Trains run every half hour with a peak journey time of only 27 minutes to Dublin city centre.

Willows development builders GEM Group has been leading from experience since 1978 by building trust, certainty and value for their clients. They have completed many notable residential projects and have established a brand of quality and service which is reflected in customers and clients long term satisfaction. They are a CIRI registered builder and have successfully completed a number of housing developments as Assigned Builder under the new building control regulations.

The development is funded by Activate Capital and it qualifies for the Help to Buy scheme which is proving very popular.

Hooke & MacDonald of Dublin and Dillon Property Consultants of Dunshaughlin are the joint selling agents with the show houses open this weekend.
