Darren Kennedy collection at Specsavers
Style icon and one of Ireland’s most fashionable specs wearers, Darren Kennedy has collaborated with Specsavers to create the Darren Kennedy Recommends collection which is now available at Specsavers Navan. Darren has gone through the extensive range of frames at Specsavers to carefully curate a seasonal edit of his top glasses for men and women. Featuring a combination of high-end designer and Specsavers own brand frames there is something for everyone in Navan.
From his own tailored suits collection, to his expert style credentials, Darren has continued to make his mark on fashion not only in Ireland but also in the UK, and is thrilled to be working with Specsavers as fashion advisor and ambassador.
Darren says: ‘My glasses are a huge part of who I am and what my style is. A pair of frames can transform not only your look but also a face. The right pair of specs can really bring your personality to life and that’s what I am hoping to do with my edit of recommended frames this summer. Taking inspiration from the bright colours of summer and the orange hues seen on the spring/summer catwalks, Darren’s female picks include the vibrant Elara frames (€189) from Specsavers’s aluminium range, as well as the more subtly colourful Talutahs (€89), an orange and tortoiseshell frame.
Keeping a focus on colours but also looking at textures Darren’s picks for men include the Tommy Hilfiger 82 (€189), a rich tortoiseshell front frame with a wood effect temple detail giving a vintage yet fresh summer look. For a stylish staple, Darren has selected the Hackett Carnaby (€189) frame, a black and tortoiseshell laminated acetate with a matt finish giving this frame a twist on the classic.
Available now at Specsavers Navan the Darren Kennedy Recommends summer collection consists of six male and six female frames, retailing from €89 to €189. Each pair of frames in the range includes PENTAX single vision lenses, scratch-resistant treatment and are included in Specsavers’ current two for one offer.
