Mr. Bill Graham, of Cavan Post Office, had a visit last week from his hale and hearty 86 - year - old uncle, Mr. James Galvin; James, who emigrated in 1901 from Faheran, on the Westmeath - Offaly border, and eered the British Postal Service. He retired as Superintendent of the North London District P.O. twenty - six years ago. He was awarded the Postal honour " Pro Ecclesia Pontifice " for his work for the Church in London and is a personal friend of Archbishop Beck of Liverpool. Mr. Galvin will do some fishing while in Ireland. He is accompanied by his youngest son, Brian, a Public Relations Officer with British Rail.
