Dear sir - The Irish in Europe Association has its 12th July Annual Boyne Valley Heritage Party and BBQ in Brussels at Resto Pub-La Regina Pizzeria,
Rue du Taciturne 39, Bruxelles 1000 (Metro Schuman or Maelbeek). Everyone is invited to celebrate with the world wide Irish diaspora on the terrace.
We would like if you could highlight in your newspaper asking readers in the Boyne Valley Catchment Area engaged in hospitality or recreational tourist related activities to send us some information, brochures for all the key attractions for our event and other information stands during the year.
We would also welcome some vouchers for the visitor centres, restaurants or mid week or weekend breaks for our tombola to help fund our promotions. Please note Tourism Ireland did not have enough funds this year to have an information stand at holiday fair in Brussels that has over 100,000 visitors, so the promotion of Ireland depends more and more on volunteer groups like us. The Irish in Europe Association volunteers have organised over 60 activities since last year to promote Ireland as a holiday destination.
We are a new diaspora association for Europe and we do intend to have 500 Chapters in 49 countries, and it is envisaged that the 12 July Annual Boyne Valley Heritage Party and BBQ will be an official Irish in Europe celebrated in all of Europe by at least 100 Chapters. The value of this promotion at its optimum potential will be about €200,000.
Please also note we have now the Irish in Europe Remembrance Saturday Ceremony in Brussels to commemorate all the Irish who died in all wars and conflicts and the reading of the poem 'Ireland' by Francis Ledwidge is part of the ceremony- another local connection. This is a distinctive Irish ceremony that takes place before Remembrance Sunday.
Hope you can help us to help you in Europe, any one sending tourist information or vouchers to arrive for 12th July if possible, to the address below.
