Shamrock Festival to remember Paddy Pryle

Paddy Pryle, who was the backbone of Navan's Shamrock Festival, will be remembered at a special evening in St Mary's Church of Ireland tomorrow (Wednesday) night, as part of the 2018 festival.
Paddy died suddenly while travelling to Canada to be a special guest at a parade in Navan, Ontario, as part of Canada's 150th anniversary celebrations last June.
Last year, he took part in the Navan Shamrock Festival commemoration of Slane poet Francis Ledwidge in St Mary's Church, and organiser Noel French has decided to dedicate this year's event to Paddy.

'An evening of song, stories, recitations, poetry, and music, in memory of Paddy Pryle' takes place in  St Mary's Church of Ireland, Navan, on Wednesday 14th March at 8pm. Al are welcome to attend to remember Paddy. Everybody is welcome along.
