Post mortem on Joanne Lee this morning

Joanne Lee, whose body was discovered in a house in Dublin yesterday, is believed to have been staying with her family in the Ashbourne area, before she went missing.
Her body was discovered by gardaí yesterday, when they called to a house on Ranelagh Road as part of their investigation into her disappearance.
She had been reported missing by her family three days ago and a public appeal was launched into her whereabouts.

After forcing their way into a house in Ranelagh yesterday, officers discovered the body of the 38-year-old inside a wardrobe.

 A man in his 30s, who is believed to have been known to the woman, was taken to hospital from the scene after it’s understood he jumped from a third-floor window.

 The State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, attended the scene. which was sealed off.  A post-mortem examination was due to be carried out today.

An investigation room has been set up at Donnybrook Garda Station.

Gardaí say they are following a definite line of inquiry.
