Car stolen in Dunboyne

Gardaí are investigating a SECOND incident this morning where a vehicle was stolen while it was left defrosting with the engine running.

This incident occurred at The Walk, Dunboyne Castle Estate at 7.55am. The vehicle, a grey Audi Q3, was taken by a male, however this male abandoned the vehicle nearby and left the area on foot. He is described as around 6ft in height, wearing a black jacket and having dark hair with a receding hairline. A resident noted a grey Audi estate car acting suspiciously in the area around that time.

Any information should be given to Dunboyne Gardaí on 01-8252211 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111.

A 161 Hyundai Tucson was stolen this morning whilst the engine was left running and the owner had returned to her house momentarily.

The incident occurred at 6.40am this morning at Curragha Road, Ratoath.
