Appeal for missing Navan man

Gardai and family members are appealing to the public for information on missing Navan man John Stokes (48) who was last seen on Saturday night.

Mr Stokes, from St Patrick's Park on the Athboy Road, Navan, was last seen in St Patrick's Park late on Saturday night. His family are concerned for his welfare and are appealing for anyone who may have sighted him to contact Navan Garda Station.

Volunteers from Meath River Rescue and Meath Civil Defence are involved in searches along the Boyne and Blackwater today. Meath River Rescue volunteers were also out for a number of hours yesterday evening after being contacted by the missing man's family.
