Attempted armed robbery in Enfield

Gardai are investigating an attempted armed robbery at Enfield Post Office yesterday.

At 12.15pm, a man entered the post office brandishing a handgun. He demanded money but was unsuccessful in getting anything and left the scene.

He was observed getting into what is described as a blue Volkswagen Passat car which drove off in the Moyvalley direction.
