Johnstown Road closed by overturned construction machinery

The road between Johnstown Shopping Centre, from the centre as far as the Dublin Road is closed to traffic this morning, following an incident close to the shopping centre, where a raised platform overturned across the road.

It is not believed anybody was injured in the incident. 

The machine overturned outside the old gym and the road is blocked from there to the Dublin Road.

Gardai are on the scene diverting traffic. There is access to the shiopping centre from Athblumney and attempts are being made to lift to the machine.
