Death of Rita O'Dwyer, Dunshaughlin

The death has occurred of popular Dunshaughlin lady Rita O'Dwyer, wife of prominent Meath GAA figure, Paddy O'Dwyer.

Rita, of Mooretown, Ratoath, died peacefully this morning at the Mater Hospital, after a short illness. A member of the Maguire family of Athboy, she is survived by Paddy and family, Nessa, Padraic, Sorcha, Ciara and Cathal, mother Eileen, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law Shane, JP and Donal, daughter-in-law Claire, Emma, grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

Rita was a familiar face to many from her time working in Super Valu.

Her remains are reposing at her home at Mooretown from 3pm until 8pm on Sunday. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am in Ss Sechnall's and Patrick's Church, Dunshaughlin followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.
