Athboy mourning Brigid Bracken

The death has occurred of Brigid Bracken, one of Athboy's most senior citizens and popular personalities.

Mrs Bracken is well known for her roles in drama, ICA and Fianna Fail among other local activities.

In her 98th year, she passed away at St Elizabeth's Nursing Home, Athboy

Predeceased by her husband, Sonny, she is survived by her sons Michael, Terry, Paddy and Eamonn; daughters-in-law Madelaine, Lucy, Veronica and Brigid; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her extended family and many friends.

She is reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, O'Growney St, Athboy from 3pm tomorrow, Friday afternoon, with removal to St James' Church, Athboy arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am followed by burial in St James' Cemetery.
