Body recovered in River Blackwater

Meath River Rescue volunteers have recovered a body from the River Blackwater in Kells. It is understood the remains were recovered at around 12 noon today.

A search operation involving Meath River Rescue, Kells Gardai and Meath Civil Defence had been under way for missing Kells man, John C Tobin (31).   

Gardai made an appeal yesterday evening seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Mr Tobin who was last seen at approximately 6am on Sunday, 13th November at Stonebridge, Kells.
