Gardai seeking men who absconded from car in South Meath

There has been a lot of Garda activity in the south Meath area this morning, according to the Meath Crime Prevention Facebook site.  It says Gardai on patrol in the Enfield area came upon a silver Volkswagen car suspected to have been involved in a number of burglaries over the past few weeks. The car rammed the Garda car and sped off.

The silver Volkswagen was found burnt a few minutes later near the Mullagh Crossroads between Kilcock and Dunshaughlin. One man was arrested and has been taken to Trim Garda Station where he is being currently detained.

Three other men took to the fields around the Mullagh crossroads. If you come upon any males in the fields or acting suspicious in the area, Gardai ask you to call ring 999 or call Trim Garda Station on 046-9431222.
