Triumph Classic Owners Club supporting LauraLynn with rally

Watch out for the Triumph Classic Owners Car Club as they take over the roads of Ireland from September 23rd to 26th in aid of LauraLynn. The Triumph Classic Owners Club (TCOC) are toasting their 30th year as true classic car enthusiasts and the club want to put their favourite Triumph cars to great charitable use by driving from the most easterly point of Ireland to the most westerly for the children’s charity. The Triumphs got the support of LauraLynn patron Miriam O’Callaghan as the RTE presenter was on hand to help them launch the rally at LauraLynn House, Leopardstown.

This year, 35 classic cars will take part, departing from The Poitin Stil, Rathcoole, Co Dublin on September 23rd, heading south west for Ireland’s most western point, Dunquin near Dingle, County Kerry. The group will then continue the journey on Saturday 24th, for the second leg of the jaunt to an afternoon in Eyre Square in Galway, where the kind hearted drivers will host a bucket collection for LauraLynn and a mini car show for all car enthusiasts.

On Sunday 25th, the group will continue on to County Antrim, taking in the Giants Causeway and staying in Coleraine and finally hitting the most Eastern point of Ireland, Portavogie before they drive back to Dublin on Monday September 26th.

All donations collected will go directly to LauraLynn and the drivers are each funding their own expenses. The group are inviting companies to sponsor each car with their logo for a nominal donation.
