Tayto Park re-opens this Friday

Tayto Park will re-open for its sixth season this coming Friday, 18th March.

Life sized Ice Age mammals, a host of dinosaur experts, a monstrous Easter egg scavenger hunt, a brand new ornately decorated vintage carousel plus a new attraction that will require steady seafaring feet are among the line up this Easter at Tayto Park.
Roaring into the spotlight is the brand new animatronic ‘Ice Valley Dinosaur Experience’ where kids can get to grips with what the earth was like over 1 million years ago in the Ice Age with mighty megafauna coming to life before your eyes.

On Saturday, 19th March and Sunday, 20th March 2016, Tayto Park will welcome experienced dinosaur experts to Ashbourne with educational talks for children happening at 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm.

On Sunday, 27th march, there will be an Easter Scavenger Hunt.
Meet Mr Tayto who will be making guest appearances and fun activities will include complimentary face painting everyday throughout the mid-term break.
Easter themed arts and crafts suitable for children under 6 years of age will take place every day and there will also be educational animal feeding talks.
So far, new attractions for 2016 include the brand new ‘Ferris Wheel’, giving visitors a chance to take in the sights and sounds of Tayto Park from an eagle’s viewpoint.
On the brand new ‘Rockin’ Tug’, you’ll experience the motions of being in the deep blue sea from the very different surroundings of Ashbourne, Co. Meath.
After your trip to the Ice Age, don’t forget to pop into the 5D cinema where ‘Angry Birds’ will be screening five minute movies so you can keep up the pace in the park and not miss too much action!
Commenting on the brand new attractions for 2015, Tayto Park founder Raymond Coyle said: “We are very excited about the new additions to Tayto Park this year, we are adding even more to the attractions for families and thrill seekers alike and catering for small children and ‘big kids’ too. We have lots more up our sleeve for 2016, so keep your eyes peeled for announcements over the next couple of weeks. This summer is going to be a very exciting one.”
