Date announced for Dunsany Cross Country Chase
Dunsany Cross Country Chase, one of the longest established and most popular events of its type in the county, will take place on 13th December this year, it was announced this week.
Dunsany and Kilmessan national schools and local charities benefit from the annual event.
Pictured at the launch of the 24th Annual Dunsany/Kilmessan Chase were pupils from Dunsany/Kilmessan National Schools along with jockey Paul Carberry and successful local trainer Matthew Smith, accompanied by vice principal Richie Donnelly aboard his horse, Frank.
This year's Chase will take place on Sunday 13th December, meeting at 1pm for a 1.30pm start, with the usual refreshments, raffle, charity auction and plenty of fun afterwards in Dunsany Hall.
