Bronze for liam foley at world games

More great news from Team Ireland with more medals added to the tally including a bronze for 17-year-old Liam Foley from Enfield in the Badminton Singles at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles.

Liam Foley is one of three Meath competitors taking part in the World Games this week.

The others are golfer Rosemary O'Reilly from Skryne and Francis Power from Navan - Francis has already won a gold medal in table tennis.

Liam has been playing badminton for six years with Killyon Badminton Club and is a son of Kevin Foley who scored 'that goal' against Dublin in the four-game Croke Park thriller that Meath won - remember that game.

Team Ireland will return to T2 Dublin Airport just after 8am on Tuesday 4th August
