HeadlineTextFormer RTE newsreader Anne Doyle will be in Navan on Wednesday of this week, and an open invitation is extended to all active retirement groups and individuals to join her in the Ardboyne Hotel for the Marigold Festival.
The event on Wednesday 10th June, from 10.30am-4.30pm, is being organised by Active Retirement Ireland and Home Instead Senior Care, and is free of charge. Both organisations are committed to enabling older people to live a happy, healthy and independent life and have come together to bring this positive, fun-filled day to the local region. 
Anne Doyle will be the guest of honour to share with us what active retirement means to her. The well loved and renowned former journalist, presenter and newsreader took early retirement from RTÉ in 2011. Her support of the Marigold Festival is evidence that even though our lifestyle may change - as we move from one phase of our life to another - there are still plenty of opportunities to live a fun, full and active
North East Region of Active Retirement Ireland said: “We are delighted to be hosting this in partnership with Home Instead Senior Care. The Marigold Festival is about celebrating life and we are sure it will be a successful event filled with laughter and learning”.
