Meath resident wins lotto plus1

A ‘thrilled to bits’ young Meath Mum took home her €350,000 Lotto Plus1 top prize yesterday, declaring the winning experience to be ‘mad stuff this – completely surreal’. It was the young lady’s first time ever to play the Lotto and the Lotto Plus games – and she only did so because she had heard of the great luck of Meath winners last week when a family syndicate of two won a Lotto jackpot of €10.6 million.

Today’s lucky mum bought her winning ticket onThursday 9 April 2015 in the Topaz Kennelsfort Service Station in Palmerstown, Dublin 20. It was a €4 Quickpick ticket. This brings the total of Lotto and Lotto Plus wins in Meath since the Lottery began in 1987 to a whopping €109,483,941.

The lucky lady, who’s staying ‘mum’ about her win, is a young professional with a young family living in Meath. She is a regular player of EuroMillions, and was in work on Monday when she checked her Lotto ticket.
