Fewer then average meath students plan to emigrate survey

Just 15 per cent of students in County Meath expect to emigrate to another country, according to the inaugural StudyClix.ie student sentiment index.
This compares to the national average of 41 per cent.
StudyClix.ie, Ireland’s largest study website, surveyed almost 5,000 secondary school students in an effort to reveal students’ habits and attitudes at a national level.
The survey also revealed that 56 per cent of students cite school as the most stressful thing in their life, while 24 per cent have experienced cyberbullying in the past year.
In terms of technology, 55 per cent of students feel they are “addicted” to their phones and 13 per cent of those surveyed are active on an online dating site.
Meanwhile, 80 per cent of students would like to see the same-sex marriage referendum passed.
