This week's Meath Chronicle will be the last to be printed in broadsheet format.

Our final broadsheet

There was a moment of nostalgia in the Meath Chronicle's newsroom shortly after 3.30pm this afternoon as the final edition of the newspaper in its broadsheet format was put to bed.

From next Tuesday, 10th March, the Chronicle will be published in compact format for the first time as it unveils a whole new look.

This week's issue is the last broadsheet to be printed after 118 years in this format. The new compact Chronicle will allow for a stronger visual presentation of content and advertising and is aimed at delivering a more engaging and relevant reading experience.

In this week's issue we cast a look back at how the delivery of the news has changed over the years.
