Armed raid at navan store

Staff at a shop on Commons Road in Navan were threatened by a male raider brandishing a knife during a robbery at 7.20am this morning.

The suspect stole a quantity of cash from the till and subsequently escaped on foot.

Gardaí have urged anyone in the Commons Road area around 7.20am, who recalls seeing any unusual or suspicious activity, to contact Navan Garda Station on (046) 907 9930.
