Chamber and council to launch free wifi

Navan Chamber of Commerce is launching its free WiFi initiative tonight at the AIB, Market Square, Navan.
Free WiFi will be available throughout the town and the streets thanks to the initiative by the Chamber and Meath County Council.               
The initiative is sponsored by the Meath Chronicle, Apáche Pizza, Cusack Hotels and Smith Harrington, while the location providers are The Central, Steen O’Reilly Solicitors, Donohoe Electrical, Marsh Mackey Accountants and Recruitment and Geraghty’s Coalyard.
Speakers at the launch will include Paul McGlynn, President, Navan Chamber, Kevin Stewart, Director of Economic Development, Meath County Council and Gary Browne, Office IT .
 Kevin Stewart said that anyone will be able to access the WiFi free of charge in the centre of Navan.
“We were very pleased to support this as it promotes Navan as a good location for business.
“We are making it more and more easy to do business online and we want to make the town as attracrtive as possible.
“Navan is one of the few towns where it will be posible to get free WiFi,” he said.
