Pippa oconnor judging ladies day at navan

Navan Racecourse hosts the prestigious Ladbrokes Troytown Day on Sunday 23rd November. Not only will there be top class racing on the day but it’s also the annual Ladies Day. Following the success of last year’s event, Pippa O’Connor will be the celebrity judge again this year.

Navan Town Centre is once again the main sponsor of the Ladies Day activities and Navan Town Centre Manager Pat Mullaney will be assisting Pippa to select an overall winner. With over €1,500 worth of prizes on offer, it is the ideal opportunity to create a winning outfit.

The Best Dressed Lady will receive a Navan Town Centre Voucher worth €800 and a 2015 Navan Racecourse Membership with a €50 voucher for each of the four runners up. Stiletto Shoe Boutique in Trim has also come on board this year and are giving a €200 voucher to the lady with The Most Stylish Accessories. There will be a glass of Prosecco and Little Topper Cup Cakes for all entrants.

This year’s theme is ‘A Touch of Tweed’ and ladies are encouraged to get together and have a great day out.

Johanna McGarry, Operations Manager of Navan Racecourse said:  “We are delighted to be working with Ladbrokes on the prestigious Ladbrokes Troytown Day and we are also hosting this year’s Ladies Day competition which is expected to be bigger and better than ever. Navan Town Centre is returning as our title sponsor for the competition. We are looking forward to working with Pippa O’Connor again and welcoming ladies from all over the region with a particular focus on an ‘A Touch of Tweed’ theme. Tickets are now available online or alternatively contact the office on 046 9021350.”

Pippa O‘Connor said: “I'm really looking forward to coming back to Navan Racecourse to judge ladies day and I'm excited to meet lots of stylish ladies. The style stakes are always so high and I’ll be looking for a lady with confidence & class.”

Most Stylish Accessories Sponsor Christine Callaghan of Stiletto said, “Accessories are a great way of bringing some personality to an outfit. We want to see ladies express their own individual style through the imaginative use of colour, shape and texture with a view to what’s appropriate for a winter’s day at the races.”
