Yellow weather alert

WEATHER WARNING: Met Eireann has issued a yellow weather warning this weekend so please take it easy on the roads as winds of 90km/ h and ‘month’s worth’ of rain is set to fall.
It will be wet and windy this evening with strong and gusty southeasterly winds and heavy thundery rain, bringing a risk of spot flooding.
The strong winds will persist through tonight along with scattered heavy, thundery showers.
