Oldcastle Parish Priest, Fr Ray Kelly, who became a worldwide internet sensation last April when a video of him singing his own version of Hallelujah went viral, celebrated the silver jubilee of his ordination last weekend.

The people of Oldcastle and Moylagh turned out in large numbers to celebrate with him.
The celebrations for the popular priest began with a mass at 7pm on Friday evening and was followed by refreshments, music and entertainment in The Show Hall.
As well as local schoolchildren performing, Fr Ray also took to the stage to everyone’s delight.
He said afterwards it was one of the most memorable weekends of his life and thanked everyone who had celebrated with him
Meanwhile, he appeared on a German TV Show just two weeks ago and is still in negotiations with major international recording companies.
It has been suggested he could be making a recod with Susan Boyle but this week, he said there were no definate plans for such a collaboration.
