Motorcyclist's death in road accident

There has been further tragic news in the county this evening following the death of a young motorcyclist in an accident on the Navan-Athboy road, at Tullaghanstown.

The 20 year-old man, believed to be from the Mullingar area, died when his bike was involved in a collision with a tractor.

The road is closed as the Garda Forensics Team investigates the scene.

Earlier in the morning, a woman in her 60s from the Delvin area died after being involved in a collision on the Trim-Athboy Road last night.
