Stylish ladies' golden hues at Fairyhouse

Brendan Courtney and Rosanna Davidson will be on the look out for stylish ladies on Monday.

Carton House hosts the Most Stylish Lady competition at the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse this Easter Monday.

'All that Glitters is Gold' is this year’s theme of the Carton House Most Stylish Lady event with judges, international model and former Miss World, Rosanna Davison and fashion designer and style guru, Brendan Courtney, seeking the incorporation of golden hues into this year’s winning outfit, from accessories to shoes to key pieces.

Embracing the colour gold is no longer reserved for the red carpet and it is seeping into the way women are dressing for both night and day. This year’s competition theme takes its inspiration from the regal heritage of Carton House, once the country retreat of the Duke of Leinster and his Lady Emily. Judges will be looking for ladies with a definite air of finesse and confidence as they incorporate anything from casual champagne to a striking metallic or a yellow gold into their outfit choice.

Carton House will be adding to the style and glamour of the day by hosting the Carton House Most Stylish Lady marquee beside the parade ring in Fairyhouse, where ladies hoping to vie for the title can register from 12 noon on 21st April.

The lucky winner of Carton House Most Stylish Lady will receive an overall prize package to the value of €8,000from Carton House.

The Carton House Grand National weekend package includes: One night luxurious overnight accommodation with breakfast and dinner in the award winning Linden Tree restaurant and entry ticket to Fairyhouse racecourse for the Irish Grand National on Easter Monday. €99 per person sharing
