Armed robbery at Enfield Post Office

Enfield Gardai are investigating an armed robbery at the local post office at around 10.20am this morning. Two males entered the post office, one of whom was carrying a firearm.
There were three staff members present at the time as well as a customer with a small child.
The males demanded cash and left the premises on foot with a sum of money. They were wearing tracksuits and had their hoods up. They spoke with a slight Dublin accident.
It is not clear what vehicle they departed in but there have been reports of a suspicious red car and a blue car in the area around the time. No shots were fired and although shaken by the ordeal, no-one was injured. Gardai are reviewing CCTV on the premises and around the village as part of their investigation.
They are appealing for witnesses or anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the village from 9.30am to come forward.
Gardai are particularly interested in speaking to anyone in the Innwood and New Inn estates who noticed any suspicious vehicles there this morning.
