South Pacific delights audiences

Audiences at the Solstice Arts Centre, Navan gave standing ovations to the award winning St Mary’s Musical Society’s production of 'South Pacific' last week.

The show continues this week in the Solstice Arts Centre, from Wednesday to Saturday at 8pm.

Tickets are only €18 from Solstice Box Office on 046 9092300 or online at www.solsticeartscentre.com
Led by Athboy Community School teacher Jacqui McGowan and her live nine piece orchestra, this epic musical romance centres on a group of American sailors and navy nurses stationed in the South Pacific during World War II.
Directed by Damien Douglas, and choreographed by Jane Wardick, the show is fully cast from local people.

Meanwhile the Society was delighted to announce last week that they will bring the three Tony award winning Broadway musical, Avenue Q, to Navan this coming September just weeks after it finishes on the professional Board Gais Energy Theatre stage in Dublin. Tickets are already on sale from Solstice Arts Centre for this Broadway hit musical.
