Meath Macra says it is happy to announce it is expanding and inviting new members to join in the fun. A new club in the Robinstown, Dunderry and Trim area is being launched and is looking for new members. The club will be officially launched on Friday 21st February in Horans pub, Dunderry at 8.30pm with a launch night and a ‘Quiz with a difference’. All are welcome along on the night. Entry is €20 for a table of four.
Paul Fitzpatrick from the new club, said: “if you are you aged between 17 and 35 and looking for a recession busting good time then consider joining Macra. Where else can you join a new club, choose things that you want to do, enter competitions and meet other like-minded young people from all over Ireland? We’ve something to suit everybody, from sky diving to slow driving, from Mr Personality to Ms Macra!”
Macra consists of a nationwide network of clubs for people aged between 17 and 35, with activities including agriculture, sports, travel, public speaking, performing arts and community involvement.
