Kells Chamber Ball tomorrow night

A glamorous night is on the cards for Kells tomorrow night at the Kells and District Chamber President’s Ball and Business Awards, which takes place in the Headfort Arms Hotel.

IFA president Eddie Downey will be the guest of honour at this stylish affair.
The Slane farmer became the 14th president of the Irish Farmers’ Association last month. Kells Chamber is also holding its biennial business awards on the night.
“Despite the continuing tough economic times, there are many local businesses in and around Kells that are managing to both survive and thrive – as well as substantial number of new businesses that have opened up in the past two years,” according to Chamber president, John V Farrelly. “Our aim with these Business Awards is to recognise and reward the achievements of local businesses.”
The black-tie President’s Ball will feature live music with acclaimed local band, Twister, as well as a four-course gourmet meal. In keeping with the Keep It Kells theme, the dinner menu will feature the very best of local produce.
