The fourth glamorous Meath Style Awards have been launched

Now in its fourth year, the Meath Style Awards was officially launched at the Headfort Arms Hotel yesterday, (Tuesday). Following on from the success of previous years the glamorous awards ceremony will take place on Friday, April 4th, at the Headfort Arms Hotel in Kells. Mary McGuigan, sales manager at the Meath Chronicle, said: “The Meath Style Awards seek to recognize people involved in the fashion and beauty industries in Meath and to acknowledge their contribution to life, both economically and socially, in the county.” “Last year’s event was a great success and gave a huge morale boost for businesses who were nominated,” she continued.

Nine awards will be presented at the ceremony – Best Boutique, Best Accessories, Best Bridal, Best Beauty Salon/Day Spa, Best Hair Salon, Best New Business, Best Interiors, Best in Social Media, and Best in Male Fashion and Grooming, a new category for 2014. An overall ‘Excellence in Style’ award will be presented to a winner chosen from the category winners.

There will be a Best Dressed Lady competition on the day with Inspire’s stylist Maria Kelly on hand to judge the most stylish lady. Guests will also receive a goodie bag.
