The Marie Keating Foundation is not government funded so we say to Harvey Norman thank you so much, said Linda Keating.
Sleep Pink, the annual nationwide charity campaign run by Harvey Norman in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation, raised over €30,000 for the organisation this year. During the Harvey Norman Sleep Pink campaign, which ran September - October 2013, a percentage of the sale from all bedding items in the Harvey Norman Sleep Pink range was donated to the foundation; the Sleep Pink range included mattresses, divans, pillows and more.
“The Marie Keating Foundation is delighted to be the chosen charity again for the Harvey Norman Sleep Pink campaign. The €30,116.00 raised this year is just fantastic and in the current climate that we are experiencing, it just goes to show the amount of effort and genuine caring support put into this campaign by all of the Harvey Norman staff countrywide, we are so grateful and what great news to hear that Sleep Pink will happen again in 2014. The Marie Keating Foundation is not government funded so we say to Harvey Norman thank you so much,” said Linda Keating, Director of Fundraising, Marie Keating Foundation
Robbie Auckram, General Manager Harvey Norman Bedding added: “Sleep is the cornerstone of our health and we are delighted run Sleep Pink for the third year supporting the Marie Keating Foundation. I would like to thank our terrific staff and suppliers for their support – their hard work made this campaign possible. In particular I would like to thank our Irish suppliers Kaymed; Briody; The Soft Bedding Company and Hand Woven by Liz Christy and Sealy.”
To date, Harvey Norman has raised over €60,000 for the Marie Keating Foundation since 2011 and Harvey Norman is proud to announce that they will be supporting the Marie Keating Foundation again this year with Sleep Pink 2014.
