Tia helps Barnardos launch toy appeal
Barnardos and GLS Parcel Shops were joined by little helper Tia Murtagh from Navan to launch their annual Christmas Toy Appeal. The children’s charity is asking shoppers in Meath to think of Barnardos this festive season and to donate a gift for a child. Toys can be dropped to any GLS Parcel Shop nationwide by 18th December to be delivered to Barnardos centres in time for Christmas.

Gifts should be new and unwrapped and can be for any child from infant to 12 years old. A gift guide is available on www.barnardos.ie.This is the fourth year that the logistics company will deliver all toys free of charge to Barnardos centres.
Barnardos works with over 6,300 children and families in 40 centres nationwide. For many of the families Barnardos works with Christmas can be an incredibly tough and stressful time. For many of these families the Barnardos Toy Appeal helps make Christmas special for their children. Each and every toy donated makes a huge difference to a child’s Christmas.

Toy donations can be made to any GLS Parcel Shop up to18th December.
