What’s ‘APP-nning in Meath!

Did you see the meathapp team out and about on the streets in Navan and the Navan Town Centre?

They were celebrating the launch of the NEW meathapp and there has been a hugely positive response from the public.

Launched by the Meath Chronicle, the new meathapp is not only free to download, it might even save you money! Meathapp enables users to immediately view the enormous range of shops, events and services available on your doorstep with just the swipe of a finger.

It’s easy to use and boasts six sections - Food & Drink, Travel/ Stay, Shopping, Services, Things to Do and What’s On - which everyone can access on their smartphone or tablet.

Basically it’s Meath at your fingertips!

So, back to the money-off part. By selecting a restaurant for example, or any service through the meathapp, you will be able to see where there are daily promotions and money off vouchers. It couldn’t be easier.

In the same fashion, the Travel/ Stay section brings up a vast selection of hotels and B&Bs in your vicinity; the Shopping section will be a must for anyone looking for a bargain or searching out that must-have product; What’s On will enable you to keep up to date with the latest events taking place in your area, while Things To Do will highlight all the fantastic activities that Meath has to offer - be it ten-pin bowling or water sports - the list is endless!

COMPETITION; Win a tank of fuel

While we were out on the streets promoting the app we were handing out free pens, lollies, leaflets & car stickers. In accordance with launching the new meathapp we have a special competition that if you put the car sticker on your car you could win a voucher for €80 petrol or diesel. Our team will be out taking pictures of cars with the stickers on them & will publish them so the owner will know they won. They then need to come into the Meath Chronicle office to collect their prize.

Stickers are also available from the Meath Chronicle office & selected petrol stations around Meath.
