Longwood death 'not suspicious'

A post mortem examination carried out on the body of a 35-year-old Latvian woman found dead in a house in Longwood earlier this week have revealed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
The body of the mother-of-two was found in the bedroom of the house in Edgeworth Court, Longwood, at around 5.30pm on Monday evening, 14th October.
A man in his thirties who was in the house at the time was taken to Mullingar General Hospital where his condition was described as not life threatening.
State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy attended the scene at Edgeworth Court on Tuesday morning of this week and the woman’s body was taken to Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, where a post mortem examination was carried out.
Following the results of the post mortem, Gardai have stated they are happy there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. The results of the garda investigation will be presented to the coroner for an inquest at a later date.
